Wellbeing

Wellbeing is different for everyone, so we've got different programs because we know one size doesn't always fit all. We offer access to a formal EAP program, we partner with headspace (a charity our Motherfunners voted for), offer a wellbeing allowance and 3 additional paid days leave (for permanent Motherfunners).

DIversity & Inclusion

We've formed an Inclusiveness Committee to discuss and implement inclusiveness programs and resources. To date, the committee (in collaboration with our venues) have created sensory maps and communication boards, we're certified 'Welcome Here' members, we provide in house D&I training and have formed a Neurodivergent sub-committee. All committees are open for all Motherfunners to join.

What is an Exempt Motherfunner?

Employee classification is a critical decision (whether someone is classified as an exempt or non-exempt employee). 

Exempt Employees must meet the following criteria:

- Manage other people (directly) or have a sufficient amount of discretion in performing their duties and directing others

- Make decisions on behalf of the business

- Make more than $64,480 in California, $60,00 in Colorado. Or make more than the Federal minimum (recognized in Texas) of $684 per week

Non-Exempt Employees have the following provisions:

- They can earn tips

- They can have periodic rest periods onshift

- They are paid overtime rates of time & a half

- They have no minimum number of hours of shift lengths
